Try Warsaw
A planned scouting visit that helps you decide whether Warsaw suits your life, with a personal budget, three matched neighborhoods and a half-day local orientation.
Who it suits
- Individuals and couples considering Warsaw within roughly the next six months
- Americans with Polish roots who are confirming or pursuing citizenship by descent and want to test the city while the paperwork moves
- People who want to test daily life before committing to a lease or a move
- Anyone who would rather decide with sourced numbers than with impressions
Who it does not suit
- People who need immigration, legal or tax advice (you will need a qualified professional for that)
- Anyone without a realistic basis for staying beyond a short visit; a scouting visit still works, but a move plan would not be honest
- Larger families or school searches, which need a separate scope
- Anyone looking for a tour guide; this is decision support, not sightseeing
What is included
- Intake questionnaire and 60-minute planning call
- We learn your timing, household, priorities and constraints, and agree what the visit needs to answer.
- Personalized living-budget worksheet
- One-off and monthly costs for your situation, each with a source link and the date we checked it. Estimates and quotes are labeled separately.
- Comparison of three neighborhoods
- Three areas matched to your needs, compared on transport, housing type, pace, green space and fit.
- Practical scouting itinerary
- A plan for your visit built around tests of everyday life: commutes, shopping, evenings, routines.
- One local orientation, up to four hours
- A single in-person session with Nick in Warsaw, focused on your shortlisted areas and questions.
- 30-minute follow-up decision session
- After your visit, we review what you learned and agree realistic next steps, whatever you decide.
- Weekday support
- Fourteen calendar days around your agreed visit, on weekdays, up to ten consolidated requests.
An example itinerary
Illustrative example only. Your itinerary is built around your priorities and dates.
- Before you travel. Intake, 60-minute planning call, budget worksheet, neighborhood comparison and itinerary.
- Day 1, on your own. Arrive, settle in, ride public transport and walk the first shortlisted area in the evening.
- Day 2, with Nick (up to four hours). Local orientation across your shortlisted areas: transport, everyday shopping, housing types and your questions.
- Day 3, on your own. A rush-hour commute test, a normal grocery shop and a second look at your favorite area on a weekend morning.
- After your visit. A 30-minute decision session and a written summary of next steps.
The in-person orientation is one session of up to four hours. The rest of the itinerary is self-guided, with weekday support in writing.
Outcome
You understand whether Warsaw suits you and what to do next. Deciding not to move can be a successful result.
